The Pomeagle is an intentional cross, not a kennel-club breed with a single written standard. Two dogs from the same pairing can differ in size, coat, and temperament, because each puppy inherits a different mix of traits from the contributing breeds.

A Pomeagle pairs a Beagle with a Pomeranian. Size is small. The body may keep a hint of Beagle length. The coat can be a Pom ruff or a shorter hound jacket, often tri or red.
The Beagle side follows a scent and can bay. The Pom side adds a watch bark. This mix needs a leash near wildlife and brushing if the coat is long. It is a house hound in a small frame.
