The Plica is an intentional cross, not a kennel-club breed with a single written standard. Two dogs from the same pairing can differ in size, coat, and temperament, because each puppy inherits a different mix of traits from the contributing breeds.

A Plica pairs a Basset Hound with an Ori Pei (itself a Pug and Shar-Pei mix). Size is small to medium. Expect a long back, a wrinkled or blunt face, drop ears, and a short coat in fawn, brindle, or tri.
Protect the spine. Folds and heat are extra limits if the Ori Pei head wins. They follow a scent. This mix is a house hound-companion. Stairs, jumping, and hot afternoons are the wrong plan.
