The Frenchton is an intentional cross, not a kennel-club breed with a single written standard. Two dogs from the same pairing can differ in size, coat, and temperament, because each puppy inherits a different mix of traits from the contributing breeds.

A Frenchton crosses a French Bulldog with a Boston Terrier. Two compact, short-faced companions make a small, short-coated dog with a tuxedo or fawn jacket, a blunt face, and a straight or screwed tail.
Heat and eyes are the limits. They are house clowns with opinions. Exercise should be short and cool. This mix is popular as a companion; it is still not a jogging breed.
