The Afollie is an intentional cross, not a kennel-club breed with a single written standard. Two dogs from the same pairing can differ in size, coat, and temperament, because each puppy inherits a different mix of traits from the contributing breeds.

The Afollie is an Afghan Hound crossed with a Collie (rough or smooth). Expect a tall, lean-to-medium dog with a long, refined head and a coat that may be the Collie's abundant ruff or the Afghan's silk.
Herding instinct from the Collie and chase instinct from the Afghan can live in the same dog. A tall fence and a daily outlet for running or training matter more than a short leash walk. They are often sensitive; hard corrections tend to shut them down.
