The descriptive information found on Pup.com for each dog breed has been provided to help you become familiar with the different breeds. This information provides some characteristics of each breed, and displays a picture of the breed. We have provided several books throughout the site and in Pup Store for further information on any breed, or for general rearing and training information.
For show dog standards, please refer to the specific kennel club standards for the breed. The dog breeds listed on Pup.com are recognized by three of the major kennel clubs: the American Kennel Club (AKC), the United Kennel Club (UKC), and the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC).
